STL1 GPS over WiFi Fleet Vehicle Tracking Solution
|
The new STL1 WiFi GPS realtime tracking unit utilizes a 802.11 modem running over a city-wide or customer-owned WiFi network to transmit location
and telemetry records to the Sat-Trak Command Center. Location records and telemetry status changes are recorded and stored on the Locator, and
automatically sent to the Command Center when the STL1 returns to the WiFi network coverage area. The STL1 has a ruggedized aluminum housing,
2 telemetry I/O ports and one serial port.
The Sat-Trak STL1 supports the following features:
GPS tracking and location updates to Sat-Trak Command Center
Telemetry Monitoring and Reporting
Vehicle monitoring & control capabilities (while linked to 802.11b/g network)
Store and forward capability - store up to 2000 records
Improved GPS -based location accuracy (WAAS)
GPS antenna disconnect alarm
WEP security
