The FleetScan STIS realtime air tracking unit is a 5th generation Inmarsat D+ transceiver, providing market-leading technology and high reliability
with a high degree of flexibility and integration in a compact form factor. Optional FAA-approved radome version is also available. Burst messaging
capabilities, combined with a flexible API, ensure that the STIS terminal can be quickly deployed in a wide range of vehicle tracking and management
applications in the air, at sea or on land.
With new regulations requiring Automated Flight Following (AFF) in many jurisdictions, the STIS will be compliant for such flight-based applications by
third quarter 2007.
